How long has it been since your piano was tuned? Pianos need tuning every 6 to 12 months to maintain optimal sound and performance.
Often when a piano has not been tuned for a very long time, the pitch of the piano drops significantly. When this occurs, a piano's strings must be raised above pitch so they stretch and settle closer to the correct pitch. Typically after a first tuning, the piano will need to have a 2nd tuning 4 weeks later. After I perform a pitch raise on your piano, I will schedule the next tuning.
I service pianos in Red Wing, Hastings, Prescott, Cannon Falls, Stillwater, Wabasha, Goodhue, Zumbrota, Rochester, St. Paul, MN and Ellsworth, River Falls, Hudson Eau Claire WI and surrounding areas.
